Some of my friends and family have websites that I would like to recommend for different reasons. (please, if I have so callously forgotten you and your site, send me the link THEN beat me up) Please visit In My Myst, my sis-in-law Cheryl's site. She writes poetry, prose, and blogs like a mad woman. Plus, she has great tattoos and loves my brother! How bad could she be? But seriously, folks, incredible reading, goes great with chocolate. Barbara Groark and I met through dear friends and she instantly became one of my favorite people. She is an intensely spiritual person who felt that The Psalms were underappreciated and very much needed in life these days. She, with the assistance of The Riverside Arts Guild, owned and operated by Ed and Courtney Robins, has recorded all The Psalms as a multi-language spoken word recording with original music. You must hear them to believe it. Also goes great with chocolate. My daughter sings a cappella with an amazingly talented and adorable group of girls in Philadelphia called The Treblemakers. They'll do a gig if you ask nicely. Music goes great with chocolate too.... Their male counterparts are 8 To The Bar. Also amazing, also adorable. Also goes great...... well, you know. |
